| DETAILS |
Spirit of the Arrohattoc: Be a part of history! The first annual Arrohattoc District camporee is fast approaching! (October 27-29th) It sounds a little like the Survivor series. Troops will become tribes and the patrols will become hunting parties. WHO will meet the challenge? Be there and be a part of the fun and action! (Leave your electronics and sodas at home though or they will be confiscated and kicked off the reservation) We are inviting area Webelo dens to attend with us so they can get a taste of Boy Scouting. Campout flyer and permission slips will be handed out Monday night at the Court of Honor. Please return them along with your camping fee at the following troop meeting on October 16. We will meet at WUMC at 6:30 PM Friday, October 27th, depart at 7PM and return at 11:30am Sunday, October 29th. The camping fee is $15.00, payable in cash only, plus an additional $10.00 (cash only) if you wish to purchase a t-shirt. |
REMINDER: Electronics are NOT allowed on T806 campouts. Please leave all electronic devices at home. The will be confiscated!
MEDICATION: If any scout needs to take medication of any kind during the campout, the medication must be hand-delivered by the parent to the “Medicine Man” before leaving WUMC. All medication must be in zip lock bag, clearly labeled with administering instructions—NO EXCEPTIONS!!
PERMISSION SLIPS AND FEES: Are due at the BEGINNING of the troop meeting. Scouts, not parents, should have these items ready to turn in as soon as they arrive for the troop meeting. The money for the purchase of patrol food is redistributed to the patrols before the end of the meeting. Late permission slips and fees create accounting and registration difficulties for the troop scribes.
Monthly campouts are not an expenses that can be deducted from your scout account unless otherwise stated in advance.
